About
Upon the success of the inaugural series in 2022, RB Corp. Instruction proudly presents Shadow Works: Volume 2 — three, new, short works shaped by the darker counterparts of Artistic Director Riley Baldwin and guest choreographer Jake McLarnon.
This enthralling triple bill features McLarnon’s flamboyant commission, Pink Parade. Blending abstract physicality with moments of whimsy, this expressive work invites the audience into a surreal world where nature’s choreography meets theatrical imagination.
Both mischievous and menacing is Baldwin’s Halloween-inspired Abattoir of Orange. Carved by Sound Designer Jag Popham, this delightfully unhinged feast of grisly derision, grotesque grins, and surgical finesse will trick and treat.
Balancing this trilogy also comes Baldwin’s coiling, viper-like work on our separate Junior Company, Insignia; an emblem of our rhythmic pulse echoed through serpentine similarities.
What light reveals, darkness conceals. Step into the light with RB Corp. Instruction’s youthful cast of 2025 this September as their shadows succumb to unseen depths usually tucked within.
